K16 Partnership for Teaching and Learning
Maryland K-16 Partnership for Teaching and Learning brings the University System of Maryland, the Maryland State
Department of Education, and the Maryland Higher Education Commission together to work to strengthen educational
achievement from pre-school through college, and beyond. In particular, the Partnership has created programs to
encourage students to consider and prepare for college, and works at both the K-12 and college levels to improve
teacher quality.
