Barrels 101: Saving for a Sunny Day - Interested in installing rain barrels
at your home or just want to learn how to conserve water? Come to this workshop
by Blue Water Baltimore to learn how easy it is to set up your own rain
barrels! This workshop will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at SMC Campus
Center, Green Room at University of Maryland, Baltimore, located at 621 W.
Lombard St. Baltimore, MD 21201.

Connolly, Department of Urban Policy and Political Science, Northeastern University - "Organizing Urban
Ecosystem Governance through Environmental Stewardship in New York City."
Seminar will be held on Friday at 2:00pm in the Technology Research Center,
Room 206, on the campus of University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and is
free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Visitor parking
passes for the TRC lot may be purchased for $4.00 in the CUERE office in TRC
102/105 on the UMBC campus shortly before seminar.

Do We Go From Here? 'Gasland' Screening and Discussion. The boom in natural
gas drilling, a process called "fracking," raises concerns about
health and environmental risks. Learn more at this screening of "Gasland." The screening and
discussion will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the SMC Campus Center, Room
351, located at 621 W. Lombard St. Baltimore, MD 21201. The event, sponsored by
UM Go Green, is free, and snacks will be provided. For more information, please
