In the Spotlight

The USM believes in the power of investing in our employees and in their growth. The USM Learning and Talent Development Committee, comprised of talent professionals from Human Resources departments across the system, works together to create annual virtual conferences that provide professional development and workplace wellness opportunities for all employees.

Professional Development Week, an entirely virtual week of keynote panels, interactive workshops, and feedback/reflection sessions, empowers employees to unlock their full potential and enhance their skills. During the winter season, Winter Wellness Day provides free wellness workshops to assist employees in managing stress during the holidays. Finally, in the spring, the Performance Development Prep Mini Conference empowers employees and supervisors to bring their best selves to their performance reviews.
