Effectiveness and Efficiency Initiative
Policies
The University System of Maryland Board of Regents at its meeting held
February 18, 2005, approved three policies developed to reduce undergraduate
students' time to degree. The policies are part of the USM Effectiveness and
Efficiency Program, an initiative to increase enrollment capacity, reduce
costs, and fund quality. Following are the policies.
