Dana Brewington Stebbins, MSW, Esq., is an attorney with an advanced degree in human behavior and more than 25 years of experience in the fields of law and social policy, the private practice of Real Estate/Land-Use law; and professional consulting services in Community and Economic Development, Business Development and Emergency Management. She is the President and CEO of The Cornelius Group, Inc. and The Law offices of Dana B. Stebbins, Esq.
She has served in all three (3) branches of government. She was a Judicial Clerk to Judge William Pryor in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She was Legislative Counsel to the Chair of the House Committee on Small Business. She was a Presidential appointee under President James Earl Carter to the Small Business Administration and to The Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Ms. Stebbins has received several awards, honors and appointments. In the District of Columbia, she is listed among The Most Powerful Women in Washington. In Maryland she received the Mayor’s Citation for Service from the City of Baltimore and is listed among the 100 Most Influential Women in Maryland. She was first appointed to the Maryland Economic Development Corporation and Commission by Governor Martin O’Malley where she served for four years. Currently, under an appointment to Maryland Economic Development Commission by Governor Wes Moore, she serves as Chair, and she serves as a Member of The Luminis Hospital Foundation Board. The Cornelius Group has offices in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Columbia, South Carolina.
