About the Tour
Robert L. Caret, chancellor of the University System of Maryland (USM), embarked on a listening tour of Maryland to seek input about
USM and explore new and better ways that the system can partner with businesses, community and civic organizations, citizens from all
walks of life, political leaders and educational institutions to help advance the State.
The four-day, 900-mile bus tour included stops in Southern Maryland, the Eastern Shore, the greater Baltimore-Washington area and Western Maryland.
Transportation was generously provided by SECU.
